A Berry Fun Time.

This week we went strawberry picking at a local farm. We have a strawberry patch of our own but it is not big enough for all the jam making we do. So off we went and had a great time of pickin' and playin'.

The hard working helpers in the field.

Micah was such a big help. He would get the biggest strawberries! :)

One of the cutest strawberry pickers out there.

He wanted show how much he picked (with some help). :)

We are so happy to have Nana visiting us from New York! She is so much fun and is a strawberry picking veteran.

 "Almost full!"

Sarah. Oh! Happy birthday, sis! That's right folks! She's the big 21.
Finished! Alltogether, we picked 105 pounds of strawberries!

Uh-oh! Somebody is snitching the strawberries!

 The group shot.

Playing on the playground after picking.

 Ready....

 GO!

Everybody tried out the monkey bars. :)

 Smile!

 Being goofy :)

Sarah and Nana with some awesome cider doughnuts.

Running on the tires and trying not to fall off.

 A pause for a picture.

Micah and Mommy went to look at the goats.

 The babies were so cute!

 The big billy goat.

 Some guinea hens.

On the way home, we saw all these police cars parked on the side of the road. There was a civilian pick-up truck parked there as well and a man was talking to an officer and pointing into the woods.

They had brought in some police dogs as well.

We made it home and started processing our harvest of strawberries.

A lot was frozen and most was made into jam that we will be selling at our farmer's market which will be starting up next week.

Who knew art could look so tasty!

Have a great day everyone!
