Swiss chard! there are so many ways to use it. We like to chop it and put it in our salads.
This flowering plant is called "Polish pride". Since we are a little polish, we take great pride of this plant. ;)
Beautiful!
A main overview of our garden... along with a chicken coop in the back
Summer squash is coming this week, so don't miss this wonderfully fresh and delicious offer at the Klem's farmers market.
These are our tomatoes in JFG exclusive tomato trellises.
Blueberries!
We will have some blueberries but not to many since it is so early for them.
Here are some of our chickens... resting in the shade :)
These are our portable pens. Every morning we move the pens to a different spot of our yard so every day they get fresh grass and clover to eat, fresh water, lots of room to stretch their legs, and plenty of sunshine while assuring that they can't run off into neighbors yards or get eaten by foxes.
Garden weeded? Check. Happy chickens? Check. A beautiful day to enjoy? Check. :)
Thanks for CHECKing in!
